FILM & TV
Michelle is a member of SAG/AFTRA. While it has been some years since Michelle left Los Angeles, you can still catch her in re-runs of CSI, Deadwood, One-on-One and Dragnet. Other favorite projects from her time as a jobbing actor include several directed by Justin Francis (such as The Way Down and Modest Mouse's Little Motel music video, seen by over 4 million worldwide).
A demo with clips from her work in film and TV from 2000-2006 can be found here.
THEATER
While Michelle thoroughly enjoyed her years in LA, her focus today is primarily on live theater, international collaboration and arts education in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. In LA, Michelle was a member of Ensemble Studio Theater LA, the Open Fist, and the Classical Theater Lab. In the Bay Area, she worked for many years with foolsFURY.
Although a member of AEA, she now directs more often than she performs. However, she was delighted to be part of "Blue Monkey Love Cuts - Redux"in the SF Fringe in 2023.
In 2021, she loved acting in a reading of a powerful new play, 59 inches, directed by Aimee Greenberg for Remote Theater, and working with Tom Bentley-Fisher on a short project exploring Hamlet. (Yes, it is ever a pleasure to return to her entry point, and first love, in this collaborative art form, i.e. acting.)
The trailer of her one-person show, Hamlet Sheryl and Me, (directed by Ben Yalom and produced by FoolsFURY) which enjoyed a successful 2017 run can be seen here.
